Admission Requirements to Study in Georgia
For Bachelor’s program in Georgia the students generally needs around 50%+ in 12th for Bachelor’s. For Masters the student relevant Bachelor's Degree with Higher Second Class Degree from a recognised institution. Most institutions provide English Proficiency waiver based on Interview through Skype/ Google Meet. The student need to produce a document stating that he has studied full time. Georgia Student Visa
The student needs to apply to Georgian Embassy through VFS offices. The Visa fee is 20 USD. There is no appointment required for submission of documents. The document required for submission are
- 1. Filled in Visa Form
- 2. Passport
- 3. Visa fee Payment Receipt
- 4. Flight Itinerary
- 5. Purpose of travel [NCEQE] :
- The Order issued by the Ministry of Education, Science, Cultural & Sports of Georgia allowing the student to Study in Georgia;
- The Order confirming the admission to an authorized educational institution of Georgia issued by a Rector/Dean;
- A document confirming the participation in an international program indicated in the information provided by the Ministry of Education, Science, Cultural & Sports of Georgia;
- 6. NEET Score Card (in case of MBBS or equivalent programs)
- 7. All educational documents must be attested/certified by means of Apostille at the MEA
- 8. Proof of accommodation :
- A document issued by a company/person registered/residing in Georgia, which confirms that, the company / person provides accommodation to the alien. The document must be notarized and must indicate the place and period of the alien’s accommodation;
- A rental agreement for accommodation document confirming the booking of accommodation (hotel reservation).
- 9. Proof of financial funds during the travel to and stay in Georgia :
- A document confirming that the alien will cover from own funds the expenses necessary for travel to and stay.
- In case, if a student receives funding from a sponsor, notarized affidavit of sponsorship, copy of passport or any other kind of Id proof of the sponsor, statement of bank account of the sponsor for the period of the last 3 months or any other proof for existence of enough funds for this purpose, Salary Certificate issued by the employer of the sponsor;
- A document confirming receipt of a grant/study financing; A document confirming existence of scholarship.
- 03 months original Bank Statements with bank stamp and sign.
- 10. Travel and health insurance shall be valid for the validity period of the visa.
Important : Affidavit/Consent letter, Birth & Marriage Certificates must to be Notary attested and Apostilled from MEA (Apostille validity must be within 06 months from the date of issue)

Post-Study Work Opportunities in Georgia
Upon Graduation the students can apply for TRP [Temporary Residence Permit] which allows unto one year to search for a job. After getting a job student can apply for Work residence Permit which is normally for 12 months and has to be renewed annually. After 10 years of Work Permit the student can apply for Permanent Residency.
