Chevening Scholarships

The scholarship scheme of the British Government is awarded to 1000 extraordinary international students every year to pursue post graduate study in the UK universities.

Commonwealth Scholarships

Targeted to students from developing Commonwealth countries willing to pursue Master’s, PhD, and split-site (PhD) study in the UK. The UK Department for International Development (DFID) funds these scholarships.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme

A joint initiative between the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (with funding from DFID), and UK universities, to support scholarships for students from developing Commonwealth countries willing to pursue postgraduate studies at UK Universities.

Gates Cambridge Scholarships

Full-cost awards (university fees, maintenance allowances, airfare, and some dependant’s allowance), for graduate study and research in any subject available at the University of Cambridge. Annually, about 100 new Gates Scholars are awarded.

Rhodes Scholarships at University of Oxford

The oldest and the most prestigious international scholarship program in the world, the Rhodes Scholarships are postgraduate awards that support outstanding students. It’s a full-cost award.83 Scholars are selected each year.

Cardiff University Scholarships for International Students

Cardiff University awards this International Scholarship in recognition of the exceptional talent of the students. It consists of wide range of distinct scholarships given annually, at all academic levels: Undergraduate (3 scholarships), Postgraduate Taught – Masters (6 scholarships), and Postgraduate Research – PhD (not specified). It covers full tuition fees of the course.

University of Birmingham Scholarships for International Students

The University of Birmingham offers 18 individual scholarships, worth £10,000 for international students pursuing a one year Masters programme. It accommodates the cost of tuition fees only.

ISH-London Met Scholarship Scheme

London Metropolitan University and International Students House (ISH), together offer this scholarship programme for international students willing to undertake a Master’s Degree Programme at the University. It includes full tuition fee scholarship and one year accommodation at International Students House.

Ten International Office Scholarships, worth £8,500,are offered for new international students willing to undertake an undergraduate or postgraduate program at the University.

University of West London International Ambassador Scholarships

The International Ambassador Scholarship awards 100 scholarships worth£5,000 ($7,500 USD) for exceptional students willing to take up a full time undergraduate or postgraduate program at University of West London. The scholars will act as international ambassadors for the University.

University of West England Global Student Scholarships

The University of the West England, Bristol offers scholarships-Global Student Scholarship and Chancellor’s Scholarship each year for students in their internship working within the Global Student Support/International Development Office, worth more than £100,000.

Sheffield Hallam University Transform Together Scholarships for Non-EU Students

Transform Together scholarships, which include a one-year full tuition fee waiver for full-time taught postgraduate courses and 50% discount on tuition fee each year of an undergraduate course, are offered to students applying for full time postgraduate or undergraduate programme at Sheffield Hallam University. The scholarships are specially targeted to international students who want to represent the international student body at Sheffield Hallam University.

University of Westminster International Scholarships

University of Westminster offers scholarships to eligible students applying a full-time Masters degree at the University of Westminster. The scholarship covers full tuition fee waivers, accommodation, living and flights expenses to and fro.

Developing Solutions Scholarships at University of Nottingham

Every year, 105 Developing Solutions Scholarships-30 covering the full tuition fee while 75 cover 50%, are awarded to students applying for a Masters Degree at the University of Nottingham.

Edinburgh Global Development Academy Scholarships

The University of Edinburgh awards Masters Scholarships for international students eligible for Master’s programmes offered by the University. 2 Master’s scholarships are available which cover the tuition fee for students from less developed countries.

University of Bradford Scholarships for Developing Countries in Crisis

The University of Bradford scholarships for developing Countries in Crisis Scholarships, worth about £20,000 which covers full tuition fees and accommodation plus £2000 per annum, are targeted to support students in financial hardship.

Students from the country under crisis as a result of any political situation, war, natural disaster etc.

University of East Anglia Development Scholarships

The University of East Anglia is awarding partial and full scholarships for Bachelors or Masters Degree in International development courses offered by the School of International Development. Multiple International Development Scholarships worth £1,000 fees awards and One (1) International Development Full Fees Scholarship are awarded to international taught applicants on the basis of academic excellence and their personal statement.
