UK Priority Visa
SUPER PRIORITY VISA
Get a Visa decision by the end of the next working day.
The Super Priority Visa service is the fastest way to secure a visa decision. This service will give eligible customers a decision by the end of the next working day after their appointment at the visa application centre. Applications submitted on the last working day of the week or the last working day immediately before a public holiday will be available for collection at the end of the next working day. The Super Priority Visa service is optional and has a fee in addition to the visa fee.
If you are a national of the country in which you are applying, or are lawfully resident in that country, it is available for any of these types of visa:
- All visitor visa customers (excluding those from Commonwealth countries, overseas domestic workers and customers from British Overseas Territories)
- Skilled Worker, Intra Company Transfer and Intra Company Graduate Trainee
- Points Based System Tier 5 customers or Temporary Workers (Creative and Sporting), if currently in the country of application for a similar purpose to the activity proposed to be undertaken in the UK
- Student, Child Student and Student Dependant visas
All customers may apply for the Super Priority Visa service apart from applicants who are applying for visas to visit other Commonwealth countries, British Overseas Territories, and Crown Dependencies (the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), ECAA, EUSS, EEA and British National Overseas (BNO) applications.
Using the Super Priority Visa service does not imply or guarantee in any way that your visa application will be successful. All applicants must meet the requirements of the relevant UK Immigration Rules.
Your application may not be straightforward if you have:
- been refused a visa for the UK, and/or;
- been refused leave to enter the UK, and/or;
- been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK, and/or;
- overstayed a period of leave in the UK, and/or;
- had leave to remain in the UK curtailed by the Home Office, and/or;
- been refused leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office, and/or;
- been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States of America, or the Schengen countries, and/or;
- you have been interviewed, detained, or prosecuted by the police for any offence in the UK or elsewhere, and/or;
- you have an unspent criminal conviction in any country, and/or;
- you have committed a criminal offence in any country, and/or;
- there is a need to check or gather further information in order to complete your visa application.
If one of these applies to you then you may not want to use the Super Priority Visa service, as UKVI may be unable to process your application by the end of the next working day. You will not be offered a refund of the Super Priority Visa fee if one of these applies to you and you choose to use this service.
If you choose to use the Super Priority Visa service and UKVI is unable to process your application by the end of the next working day, UKVI will contact you to inform you and to advise you when you can expect a decision.
Customers applying in categories for which a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) will be generated should be aware that if their application is successful, their BRP will be produced and available for collection in the UK in accordance with the advice on the BRP collection letter that they will receive from UKVI. You must collect the BRP either before the vignette sticker in your passport expires or within ten days of arriving in the UK, whichever is later.
Please note that your BRP may not be ready for collection on the first day that you arrive in the UK.
Please note that this service is not compatible with the “Keep My Passport When Applying” service, which means customers only need to submit their passport once a decision has been reached.
